CARVED WOODEN KEEPSAKE BOX

Carved walnut wooden keepsake box — the result of an experiment that combines a revised futuristic oval-shaped form with floral patterns carved into walnut wood tiles. The carving was created by Azamat Radjabov, a young first-generation craftsman from Bukhara, where he was born and still lives. He is a student of Shavkat Ashurov, a well-known master in the local woodcarving community with more than 30 years of experience. Azamat worked exclusively on the carving itself; the wooden base and overall form of the box were pre-made.
